THE TRUTH IN THE GREEN PARADISE!
The first motion for indictment with precautionary measures against the former
president of El Paraiso Verde, who was replaced by the founders of El Paraiso
Verde, Dr. Erwin Annau and Sylvia Annau, on October 17, 2023, Mr.
Juan Buker *
was filed at the end of December 2024.

Mr. Buker is accused of misleading Paraiso Verde investors regarding the generation of
unreasonable financial gains. He promised profits of 8 to 12% in a cattle fattening
program called “Cash Cow” and claimed that the profits would be used to finance the
construction of apartments.
However, Buker and his accomplices allegedly diverted 17,232,557,534 Guarani (about
2,238,000 euros or 2,267,000 dollars) from the construction funds. The fraud was
uncovered by Dr. Annau on October 19, 2023, revealing a suspected criminal
organization behind the operations.

In the course of the investigation based on the complaint of a cash cow investor, Dr.
Annau provided the Villarrica prosecutor with information and evidence that led to the
first request for an indictment against the alleged godfather of a criminal organization.
When Buker presented his experiences in cattle fattening to settlers and investors
(including a CPA), Buker made the following claims:

He had owned 2 farms in Argentina and was an expert in cattle fattening. This
has not been proven to date; according to witness statements, he did not own a
single such farm in Argentina.

He had a “secret recipe for fast cattle fattening” (weight gain of 2 kg or more per
day): This “secret recipe” turned out to be knowledge that everyone in the
industry in Paraguay knows anyway. This was stated by a settler who worked for
the founders at the time, in October 2023)

Cattle that were bought for 2,250,000 gs. to 2,500,000 gs. could be sold for
5,000,000 gs. to 5,800,000 gs., almost doubling the capital in about 4-8 months of
fattening (of course only “with the secret recipe”….).

It costs only 700,000 Gs. (about 91 euros, about 98 USD) to fatten a cow from the
time of purchase at 120-145 kg live weight to the time of sale at at least 400 kg.
Added to this would be the pro-rata costs for personnel and veterinarian (197,545 Gs.,
approx. 26 euros or approx. 28 USD per month).
Buker was asked several times by the founders, the investors and the CPA whether
these figures were correct. He insisted that they were correct. After all, he was the
absolute expert in the field of cattle fattening.
Buker informed the founders that, according to the commercial director of Granusa,
these results could be used to fatten up to 13,000 cattle in the EPV.
On the basis of this information from Buker, a quote was prepared and emailed to him
for correction on May 7, 2023 (17:23:41) with the
Subject: Cash Cow – Investment – INFO, Please review where necessary corrections.
On May 10, 2023, the calculation was handed over to Buker, based on 7000 cattle and
with significant safety reserves. The figures and calculations had been audited by a
CPA. Buker confirmed the accuracy of the figures.
The sale of Cash Cow began in mid-May 2023.
At the end of September 2023, Dr. Annau stopped selling the Cash Cow program
because Buker had fallen behind in buying fattening cattle. It later turned out that,
according to a court report, he had withdrawn funds from the corporate account,
reserved for the purchase of cattle, without authorization.
On October 19, 2023 (two days after the founders took office), a meeting was held from
5:00 to 7:30 p.m. with Dr. Erwin Annau and Sylvia Annau, the operational director of
RELJUV S.A. and the commercial director of the feed supplier Granusa.
The new president, Dr. Annau, and the new vice president, Sylvia Annau, confronted the
sales manager of Granusa with the statements attributed to him by Buker.

corrected them:
B. The fattening of a 140-400 kg heavy cow under the existing grazing conditions in
El Paraiso Verde costs at least 5 million Guarani (on average 5.4 million Gs. or
700 euros, or 710 USD). Buker had therefore understated the fattening costs per
cow by a factor of about 8 to 9.
With the actual fattening costs, profits of a few thousand Guaraní per cow could
be achieved at best, but the capital would never double.
C. Under the current grazing conditions, only about 800-1000 cattle could be
profitably fattened in the EPV. If the remaining pastures were prepared, a
maximum of 1600 cattle could be fattened.
At the end of the meeting, at 7:30 p.m., the new board members Dr. Erwin Annau and
Sylvia Annau immediately terminated the sale of the CASH COW program.
Since Dr. Erwin Annau was a hedge expert by profession before El Paraíso Verde, he
had sold each of the 25 affected investors land for the sales value of the investment sum
of the cattle fattening.
The land was added to the fattening cattle, which were sold with a contract signed by
Buker, EXCLUSIVELY between Buker and the investor. Each investor was therefore
doubly protected. This double protection was intended by the Annau couple in case of a
cow epidemic.
They did not suspect that the reason for using the property as collateral and hedging
would be quite different, namely a man with three names…
Since taking over, the founders have spoken with the affected investors and made
arrangements that will enable them to recover their investment.
However, one investor has filed a complaint against Buker, Dr. Annau and Sylvia Annau.
This complaint gave Dr. Erwin and Sylvia Annau the opportunity to present the facts of
the case to the public prosecutor, which led to the Villarrica Criminal Court declaring that
Dr. Erwin Annau and Sylvia Annau were victims of the alleged professional criminal
Buker.
As a result, the Villarrica Public Prosecutor’s Office filed an application to charge Buker
with aggravated fraud.
